"The Lord knows power isn't one of the most important things in life; it is the only thing in life! If he does not have power, he gets power; if he has power, he uses it to get more power and protect the power he has. The Lord wakes up at night fearful that in some chaos; he will be overthrown and lose his power. To prevent this the Lord rules with complete authority, trusting no-one, leading those under him as a boss, king or politician does."
